  • A range becomes a fixed price after a short scoping call. What moves a price: users and departments, data to migrate, integrations, and how much is configured versus built.
  • Optional annual support and managed governance starts at 18% of the project value per year (minimum $1,800). Changes after go-live are $85 per hour, or a prepaid 20-hour block for $1,600.
  • Prices exclude VAT (16% in Kenya) and withholding tax.

Who this is for

  • Organizations carrying a long tail of processes that run on spreadsheets, email and paper, too small to justify software written from scratch, too important to leave alone.
  • IT teams with a backlog of small internal requests they will never reach, where the business has started solving things in Excel instead.
  • Microsoft 365 customers who already hold Power Platform entitlements and are not using them.
  • Organizations that want citizen development but need it governed, having seen what ungoverned spreadsheets did to their data.

What a Power Platform engagement covers

Two distinct things, and they should be scoped separately: building specific solutions, and establishing the governance that lets your own people build safely.

  • Process discovery and triage: which processes justify automation, which should be simplified first, and which should be left alone.
  • Power Apps for the forms and interfaces replacing spreadsheets and paper.
  • Power Automate flows for approvals, notifications, document generation and system-to-system handoffs.
  • Dataverse design where a solution needs a real data model rather than a list.
  • An environment and governance model, where makers build, what leaves the tenant, and how a business-critical app is supported.
  • Enablement for your citizen developers, so the capability stays in-house.

How the engagement runs

  1. 1

    Opportunity assessment

We look across candidate processes and rank them by effort against benefit. Some of the best outcomes are processes that should be removed rather than automated.

  2. 2

    Governance foundation

Environments, data policies and the support model are established before a portfolio of apps exists. Retrofitting governance onto sixty apps is a much worse project.

  3. 3

    Build

Solutions are built in short cycles with the people who do the work, reviewed as working software rather than as specification.

  4. 4

    Enablement

Your makers are trained on what has been built, so the pattern is reusable and the next app does not require us.

What you need in place

  • Power Platform licensing, which may already be included in your Microsoft 365 subscription, we confirm entitlements before scoping.
  • Named process owners who can decide how a process should work, not only describe how it does.
  • An IT position on governance. Citizen development without guardrails creates a support problem that lands on IT regardless.
  • Acceptance that some processes should be simplified before being automated.

Working with Sibasi on Power Platform

Is this a substitute for proper software?

For the right problems, yes; for others, no, and saying so is part of the job. Power Platform is well suited to workflow, forms, approvals and integration where the logic is manageable and the user base is internal. A high-volume, complex transactional system with demanding performance requirements is not a good candidate. We will tell you when a requirement has outgrown the platform rather than building something that becomes a liability.

Will we be dependent on Sibasi afterwards?

That is the outcome to avoid, and enablement is scoped for it. We build with your makers rather than around them, document the patterns, and treat the engagement as incomplete until your team has built something themselves. An organization that cannot change its own apps has bought a dependency, not a capability.

What about governance and shadow IT?

Power Platform can create shadow IT faster than spreadsheets if nothing constrains it, so governance comes before the portfolio. That means environment strategy, data loss prevention policies deciding which connectors may be used, and a clear line between a personal productivity app and one the business depends on. The second category needs a support model, and deciding that early is much cheaper than discovering it when an app everyone relies on breaks.

How do you choose which processes to automate first?

Effort against benefit, weighted toward things that will demonstrably work. The first delivery should be visibly useful to the people who do the work, because it sets whether the rest of the programme is welcomed or resisted. We deliberately avoid opening with the most politically complex process, however large its theoretical benefit.
